Quiet Woods

Quiet Woods is a small oil painting, just 3 by 4 inches, capturing a quiet moment in the forest near my home in the Hi Country. A winding path moves through deep greens and rich golds, where sunlight filters down in soft yellow and green tones. I focused on blending the brushwork to create a smooth, calm atmosphere, where light and shadow flow naturally beneath the trees. This piece grew out of time spent wandering those woods—moments when the forest’s stillness holds a kind of quiet clarity. Will be in a simple black frame 4x5 inches
