Beckles builds CYBORG from a hard black field that reads like a stage or control panel, then drives neon green, peach, orange-red, and metallic gold across it in aggressive splatters and dense drips. The acrylic on plexiglass gives the surface a sleek, reflective finish, so the paint sits both on and within the image, sharpening the contrast between the matte dark ground and the wet-looking bursts of color.
