This piece is inspired by the ebb and flow of emotion. Sometimes the current is rushing and we have to do our very best to stand through it without losing our balance. Sometimes the water is so still we can focus on restoring ourselves.

My paintings are created with no planning. It is a very spontaneous practice. I instinctually chose the colors I am using, but I have little control on how the colors will flow together.
