Style:
Beckles builds the image from a hot metallic ground that reads as copper leaf or a reflective bronze field, then drives across it with black circular forms and aggressive neon green and orange splatter. The surface is glossy and hard-edged, with paint moving between pooled translucency and opaque bursts, so the work holds both depth and impact at once. Its stacked circles and radial splashes organize chaos into a vertical rhythm, aligning the piece with postwar abstraction, action painting, and the optical force of psychedelic colorism, while the plexiglass support sharpens every collision of hue and line.
