Spontaneous

Spontaneous is a small tempera work measuring 2 1/2 by 2 1/2 inches, matted to a clean 5 by 5 inch frame with a wide black border. The piece captures a fluid exchange between vivid blues and soft pinks against a crisp white background. The brushstrokes and splashes move freely, creating an energetic rhythm that invites the eye to trace each gesture. The contrast between the colors and the surrounding white space sharpens the sense of immediacy and motion. This piece grew out of a moment where I simply let the colors flow without restraint, embracing the unpredictable paths they take.
