I love taking photographs of things as they are and recreating them into images that are totally unrecognizable from their original form. They are “before” and “after” photographs. My photographs go from being representational Art to Abstract, and I’m inspired by that my subjects are endless.

About Michael Warren

Michael Warren was born in South Bend, Indiana, the youngest of three children. At South Bend Central High School, he excelled as Senior Class President, a National Honor Society member, and a standout student-athlete. In 1964, he earned a scholarship to UCLA, where he played three varsity seasons under legendary coach John Wooden. An Academic and Athletic All-American, Warren shared the court with Kareem Abdul-Jabbar (then Lew Alcindor) and Lucius Allen. He remains the only player Coach Wooden ever named captain of two consecutive NCAA Championship teams (1967 and 1968). Wooden once remarked, “Mike Warren is the smartest player I ever coached.” Following basketball, Warren transitioned to entertainment, earning roles in television series such as Sierra , The White Shadow , and most notably Hill Street Blues , where his portrayal of Officer Bobby Hill garnered a NAACP Image Award and an...

My journey into art photography began with a profound conversation with God—an encounter that transformed the way I see the world. Everyday moments I once overlooked—sunsets, landscapes, flowers, foggy days at the beach—suddenly became sacred, compelling invitations to create. For me, the act of taking a photograph is just the beginning. The image often evolves in unexpected ways as I reimagine it through bold, vibrant color and transformed surroundings.
