Morning Song Giclee Print

Morning Song is a new giclee print, sized 8 by 10 inches, that captures the quiet presence of a whale moving gracefully beneath the water’s surface. The composition contrasts the whale’s lighter dorsal side with its deeper, shadowed underside, emphasizing form and movement against a rich blue background. The piece was inspired by a photograph taken by a friend during a morning dive off Maui, a place known as “only the best.” Creating this work allowed me to translate that serene moment underwater into a stillness that feels alive—a glimpse into the ocean’s subtle rhythms.
