This 11" x 17" acrylic painting on mixed media paper portrays a powerful, stylized figure of an African woman (Nigerian) carrying a large basket on her back, viewed from behind in a three-quarter angle. The work is bold, expressive, and culturally resonant, executed with thick, textured brushstrokes and a vibrant, high-contrast color palette. The overall mood is one of strength, grace, and quiet dignity, set against a dramatic sunset sky. The piece is signed with initials ("BENNY" one of the first time I signed a piece with my monogram) in the bottom right corner.

The style of 'Nigerian Strength' can be inferred as contemporary, possibly incorporating elements of realism or abstraction typical of modern African art. The work likely explores themes of cultural identity and resilience, reflected in the title. Acrylic as a medium supports both detailed and abstract styles, enabling the artist to experiment with texture and form.
